Ludmilla Regos' story of her son Michael is the story of a young man with Down Syndrome whose life has not been limited by low expectations. Michael is in a regular class at high school and uses facilitated communication. With support from school, fellow students and family, he has been able to participate fully in the secondary school curriculum. Included in the article is a historical update on inclusive education in Victoria, together with a summary of what Michael's inclusion has meant to the Regos family.
