This book was developed by the Ministry of Education, The Federated Teachers' Union of Victoria, and the Victorian Secondary Teachers' Association to support schools to address social justice issues through a series of Professional Development Pilot Projects. The schools in this project were resourced to develop, trial and document school-based professional development strategies and approaches on integration. Examples of good practice have been contributed by teachers directly involved in the project. Topics cover aspects of integration of students in the post-primary age range. The term inclusive curriculum is described in the book as "the process by which schools ensure that their curriculum provides access to success for all students, through educational programs in which all students participate".
