The Turnbulls, parents of Jay who has an intellectual disability, tell two different stories about Jay. One is about his life when he was using services typically used by others with disabilities and one is about his life now, when he is living and working inclusively within his community. The Turnbulls use the stories to stress the importance of positive behavioural programming requiring emphasis on lifestyle changes, not to merely focus attention narrowly on programs.
