The Family Planning Association (NSW) (FPA), following submission approval by the NSW Department of Health, conducted a survey of people with intellectual disabilities, staff, management and parents to determine the level of information and education needs relating to HIV/AIDS. The results showed a generally low level of education and correct information. The FPA has subsequently recommended a variety of educational programs and policies for organisations, media and individuals. This paper details the survey and recommendations. Keyword: Health
