This presentation was given at Family Advocacy's 2012 The Odyssey Conference...celebrating achievements, progress and change.

Emma Brodie is 23 and belongs in a family of six. Emma has a variety of interests and talents but is particularly focused on the creative arts. Emma is involved in a number of art, drama and dance classes and enjoys exploring what her community offers so that she can continue to pursue her passions and express her creative side.

Rhiannon Brodie is Emma’s sister. Rhiannon, along with her family has always encouraged Emma to pursue her interests and has assisted her by seeking out what is on offer in their community. Through tapping into community opportunities, and understanding the real interests of people, Rhiannon believes connections and relationships can be forged.
