The article puts forward the point that while segregated workshops and activity centres will soon be historical footnotes, some are unfortunately being replaced by segregated enclaves and mobile work crews. Any benefit that can be realised through these options can also be realised in individually appropriate integrated work environments, but many benefits realised in these integrated work environments cannot be realised in segregated work options.
