In this video you are introduced to Joscelyn Sweeney, her family, school and friends. Joscelyn is in Year 6 at Lake Albert Public School in Wagga Wagga, NSW. She was the first child with significant intellectual disability to be educated in the regular class at this school. In this video you hear from her family, teachers and Principal about what it has meant for Joscelyn to attend her local school. Her parents tell of the hopes and dreams they have for her and their work with the school over the years to realise these dreams. The result is a multilayered perspective on inclusion in one school.
