This paper reports on two meetings held to discuss issues of concern to women who have disabilities and who are aging, and aging women who are carers, organised by ACROD in Sydney and Melbourne in 1990. The future, for both groups, was seen as a major concern, as were day activities for people retiring ,nursing home staff training, government subsidies for essential aids and accessible communities.
