This article outlines the formation, development and work of the Early Childhood Inclusion Network in Onondaga County, New York. A key factor in the successful implementation of inclusive practice was identified as the need to build up trust and respect between childcare staff and special educators. In addition, barriers to inclusion were identified and worked on. An outcome of the two retreats organised by the Network was the development of a 'How to' manual on inclusive childcare. The network's initiatives have resulted in workers and agencies becoming more responsive to inclusion. Keyword: Pre-school aged, Child Care
