Since the 1950's, Rosemary Dybwad (and her husband) has spoken out for people with disabilities and their families. This is a collection of Rosemary's speeches and papers over these years. Through these speeches the reader gains an understanding of the history of the disability rights (including the parent) movement. The importance of an historical grounding to our present actions and work cannot be underestimated. As the introduction notes, Rosemary helped to plant seeds in our thinking many years ago.
