The Specialist Child and Family Services Program (SCAFS) was set up in Victoria to improve the co-ordination of services for children with disabilities and their families. This book contains the range of papers presented at a SCAFS conference, held to take stock of progress. The conference provided a forum for what had and hadn't worked and why. This was in order to share information and look to the future. The papers are presented by service providers and parents and cover parent advocacy, co-ordinated service delivery and improving access to services. The book is a good resource for parents and professionals learning to work together. Keyword: Professionals
