This short article describes a real situation of a parent confronting a high school meeting in which they recommend the "functional skills classroom" for her daughter, a student with disability who has been fully included from pre-school. This is just one case, but it is not uncommon to face the danger of segregation in secondary school.,,The author explains how she suggested this mother to make very clear to the school team what her vision was for her daughter, a vision that included college after high school. The tactic proved to has its effect, and the student has now completed high school and gone to college.,
